1. I am afraid to let my picture out of my sight. What should I do?
We suggest that you have your picture scanned at a comfortable location for you. Kinkos, Staples or an Office Max can do that for you.
2. That's great but what do I ask them for?
Ask them to scan it for at least double the original size. 300dpi or larger will be acceptable.
3. What format should they scan them?
Tiff or Jpeg will do nicely.
4. My photo is really stuck in its frame. Can I just send you the whole thing?
Sorry no, we never like to exert more damage on a photo or slide or negative.
5.But it's the best picture of Uncle Joe that I have, maybe the only one!
We suggest having the photo scanned in the frame first. Then we may be able to work with that scan. Then take your picture to a professional picture framer. They have all sorts of ways to deal with stuck photos. But get a scan done first!
1.Please include a detailed instruction sheet for each photo, slide or negative submitted.
2.
Carefully pack your photos in a plastic bag and use FIRM cardboard pieces
in the envelope or box.(the U.S. Postal Service and many office supply stores
have the perfect mailing item for your photos)
3.Don't
scrimp on the packing! Careful packaging is your friend!
4.Don't forget to label your package with "Photos Do Not Bend". You might want to send your package CERTIFIED or with a DELIVERY COMFIRMATION notice.
5. Ship to...
